It’s getting closer to greatest for LeBron James. The basketball player may reach Michael Jordan’s record by winning the most playoff games. Although the San Antonio Spurs won the first game the Miami Heat are going forward with confidence.

LeBron Raymone James, who turns 30 at the end of the year is getting closer to Michael Jordan’s record. If the Heat wins this championship they are three games away from The Chicago’s reign as the greatest team ever. James at 6 ft. 8 , weighing 250 lbs is the small forward and power forward. Thus far James has won two NBA championships, four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, two NBA Finals MVP Awards, one NBA scoring titles, and the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. He has also two Olympic gold medals. James has also played on ten NBA All-Star teams, nine All-NBA teams, and six All-Defensive teams, and is the Cleveland Cavaliers’ all-time leading scorer.

Michael Jordan now 51, is considered the best basketball player ever. At 6′ 6″, and weighing 216 lbs he reigns over the league in stats. Hailing from the University of North Carolina, Jordan was drafted into the NBA in 1984 While playing for the Chicago Bulls his positions were shooting guard and small forward. Michael Jordan won six championships. Elected as the most valuable player five times, he shined on the court for many years. The summer before he started playing for the Bulls he was selected as the co-captain of the U.S. Olympic gold medal basketball team in 1984.

Jordan’s spectacular abilities are also credited with drawing millions of viewers in the U.S. and overseas to the NBA. The commercials and great marketing of Michael Jordan are credited with bringing a new era of marketing to basketball and the sports world.
