Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband of ten years, Chris Martin, are parting ways. In her now famous statement on her blog entitled “goop”, she explained how the two have agreed to “uncouple and coparent”. It remains true that no one turns on a dime in life, it only appears that way. Paltrow and Martin have admitted that they’ve been unhappy for years and haven’t been a real couple at all for quite some time. They certainly had a lot of people fooled, but it was their objective to keep up appearances for the sake of the children.
Now, that the truth of their separation is out, the media focus has turned to celebrity RCA (root cause analysis). Reporters are eager to find out what unraveled a seemingly strong Hollywood marriage. In part it was their careers, they grew apart with his music career and her acting career. That alone would put a strain on any marriage. However, some suggest that Paltrow may have some hidden peccadillos. A Vanity Fair story alleges she had an adulterous affair with Jeff Soffer, husband to Australian actress Elle McPherson who have only been married months at the time of the rumors. She denied those allegations in October. Last month, she had a surrogate deny she had an affair with Kevin Yorn, her attorney.
The age old adage that there is no smoke without fire generally holds turns to be true. Heidi Klum denied any relationship with her boy-toy body guard despite allegations by her estranged husband, the singer known as Seal. In the end, it turned out to be true. When Vanity Fair was attempting to dig into her private life, Paltrow went on the offensive reading her friends the riot act in order to not utter a word to the magazine. Those actions generally tend to follow people who have something to hide. Quite likely, the truth will soon emerge.
